Stories abound…no matter how old they are, how embellished they become, or who gets paid. In Hegseth’s case, “the incident was fully investigated and no charges were filed because police found the allegations to be false.” When the woman said “things got fuzzy,” but was later able to have an argument with Hegseth near the hotel pool that suddenly jumped to a hotel room…no wonder the report indicated the allegations to be false.
I think CNN is trying their best to pick President Trump’s administration, but it will not work, I think Pete Hegseth is a great pick, and I do hope he is confirmed,
It boggles the mind how Fox News simply performs a basic Jedi mind trick on their audience of “this is not the news you are looking for” and it works 100% of the time.
They should strive for transparency, providing balanced coverage while allowing for public discourse on the implications of his new role at the Pentagon.
It’s concerning when media outlets downplay significant issues to protect their own interests. Transparency and accountability should always come first.
If Fox News does downplay the controversy because of its longtime hosts and potential vested interests, it could be interpreted as a compromise of journalistic ethics.

And, if this was happening to Brian Stelter, I’m sure CNN would be covering it 24/7 – Come on man ….. we know they would act like it never happened ….

America wants accountability.
Brian Stelter is still allowed in the air? LOLOL.

If you’re CNN, in contrast, it appears you’re supposed to recognize hearsay as fact and highlight any possible story that will undermine the nominee.
