I moved to Uruguay 18 months ago
Itโs pretty good here! Mild weather, not too crowded, good food, and housing and healthcare are both affordable. Itโs a lot less stressful here versus the USA
I am likely going to stay here and consider getting citizenship. I donโt miss America
During the Kansas City game on NBC, Quebec had a commercial. People wanting to leave is real, and other countries have picked up on this. Us retirees have money, and the know it. We can go there and take our SS, VA benefits , and our company retirements, as long as we don’t become citizens.
If I had to choose a place to live outside of the U.S. it would be Canada.
I also speak French as a 2nd language which is very helpful in the Quebec Province.
