A call to the whole world We, the Christians in Syria, strongly reject the terrorist organizations’ takeover of Syria. We demand the international community, the UN, NATO countries, all humanitarian and human rights organizations, the UN Security Council, the US National Security, and all presidents to intervene quickly to stop these terrorist organizations that have taken control of Syria. Please. There is a genocide taking place. The extremist Islamic groups are destroying and killing civilians and minorities. We, the Christians of Syria, need protection. Please stop them. They are extremist Islamic organizations.
Bummer… As that was actually going to bring another choice and competition to our town (we have Two Krogers brands across the street from one another)…
Excellent! Since Krogers took over my local Albertsons, the prices have doubled on almost everything in the already overpriced supermarket. Maybe they’ll drop back down now!

Because it’s always best for a company to go out of business so its competitor can capitalize on its loss.
This is a major move for the grocery world. A $25 billion merger would’ve been a game-changer, but I guess the legal system had different plans!

Everyone should be celebrating this.
A free market doesn’t work when there’s only a tiny handful of giant megacompanies in each industry. What’s the motive to compete?
Walmart exists. So why did they block this mega merger? Too much competition?

Good
We should allow monopolies. We need way more conservative judges. You can’t ever really have enough.
I just want an Aldi’s in the San Francisco Bay Area. Is that too much to ask?
